Breastpumping can be as tough as breastfeeding especially in the first few weeks when its hurt and the collection is 1-2ounce per session; very discourageing :( . I bought a medela breastpump thinking the price can make 'milking' easier:). Well it didn't. I gave up pumping after a few weeks.
After over a month when the milk supply seem steady i gave it another try. Surprise ! surprise! Manage to fill the bottle up to 4ounce! That was very promising.
I put on label and kept it refrigerated.... Smiling:) Do you know a refrigerated expressed breastmilk (EBM) can last up to 8days? Sound eery .. but no worries research has been done tremendously and thousands of babies fed with proper kept ebm were a living proof.
So, yay for my little collection!!

wah..congratulation!!!madela is among the best breast pump + hopital gred..mums always give 5stars for this pump..hehehe...good pump also encourage us to pump...:)..happy pumping n breastfeeding...i will buy madela one day..now,stick to spectra 3 (yang gabak) but really help me tru a year...
Kalau u nak beli pilih madela freestyle. That's what i aim for; less noise; more comfortable;
